Carmageddon II 3dFX patch

This patch lets you play Carmageddon II in full 3dFX which lets you use a joypad in XP but most of all lets you play the game with up to 1280x960 screen resolution!

Hey there. It appears your video there is not working. I'm curious to see it. Having a bit of a mcarma 2 revival myself here. Also trying to the the glide wrapper thingy to work. Hmm..

Carmageddon II - XP Patch problem

When I try to run the Carmageddon II Windows XP Patch, it says: - The program cannot be started, because "smackw32.dll" doesn't excist.

Anyone who knows what I should do to make it run, so that Carmageddon II can run?

Many thx, but i still can't play the game ... I have this 'sort of invisible rectangle in which my mouse works, but as in does nog cover every button i can't click on a race or options orso... Anybody familiar?

Right click on the EXE, go to the Compatibility Tab, and then check the "Screen reolution 640 x 800", or something like that. That shou;d solve the "boxed in mouse" problem.

There's also some songs from Iron Maiden. "Be Quick Or Be Dead", "Man On The Edge", and a couple others. Great music, even though the game doesn't effing work for me.
